MUSICAL THEATRE
Our Musical Theatre classes consist of Stage Presence JUNIOR, Stage Presence TEEN and Stage Presence OPEN. These are beautiful classes and where SOTA originally started. Weekly lessons of Dance, Song and Acting culminating in an end of semester show. Last year
we performed "Disney's Alice in Wonderland Junior" and so far this year we have announced our JUNIORS will be performing "Disney's Dare to Dream" and our TEENS will be performing "LEGALLY BLONDE"
Students learn how to put on a show from start to finish… there is costumes, oh so very quick changes, dancing, singing, acting, microphones, scene changes, lighting etc and through it all some great friendships are made and fun had by all.
Students perform their show at the end of each semester.
MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVE
Our Musical theatre Intensive classes are designed for the most passionate. Those wanting a career in Musical theatre or those that live, eat and breath everything Musical Theatre. Classes will be more intensive as suggested than our Stage Presence class as teachers will be helping students excel. Toes will be pointed, notes will be hit and expressive faces and body language will be onpoint. All expressions of interest are subject to a successful audition to be included. Students in this class will perform a medley of musical theatre exerts at our end of semester SOTA showcases.
